		<description>Rachel,

I&#039;ve found that there are some smaller closed communities that encourage you to blog using their software (you can&#039;t feed your own blog into them automatically.)

Try posting it on Marketing 2.0, AMA Boston, Friendster, and Articlesbase.com.

<description>[...] Then, the power went out due to the snowstorm here in Boston. NSTAR, our electrical utility, was quick to act and the power was back on about twenty minutes later. Once my router rebooted, I posted Car-free for nearly a year! to my blog. After it was live, I tweeted out a link to the post and updated my linkedin status with the url too (tip of the hat to Rachel Levy for the linkedin idea). [...]</description>

<description>I must say I qot quite impressed with your Twitter-feed.

A problem genereal in the area you think about in the feed is that social media at total size (I think) is heavly dominated in &quot;real life&quot; outside the internet-media-community by woman while the internet-media-community is dominated by males.

As research indicate male and female use and communicate different in social media (see for example DOI:10.1177/0741088308327911). And maybe as I think that the female use indicate the future use for all. Atleast it seems so for me since I started to use internet around 1995. Male was early but at the point female use started that use indicated the future development.

To find you who is intelligent and thinks about the area was therefore very nice for me. I have great hope foor your blog here which I will take the time to read tonight (I hope).

If you dont take up the questions about the development of social media and trends maybe thats something to you write about?

Bood luck with your Twitter feed, your blog and your business. And I am sorry that Im not that used to write english.

Best regards
Hans H

<description>Oooh but that&#039;s only the tip of the syndication, aka aggregation, iceberg.

When you mentioned Digg, I thought you&#039;d also include StumbleUpon, Reddit, Sphinn, Mixx, and Furl, among others. Each caters to a different audience. I occasionally digg and stumble my posts, but more lately I&#039;ve been sphinning )http://sphinn.com) my content.

But, separate from the social bookmarking sites are the aggregates; places ranging from Social Media Today - http://socialmediatoday.com - to Social Median - http://socialmedian.com.

And, don&#039;t forget Ning sites you can join that are applicable to your interests and content. Most Ning sites are built with a &quot;blog post&quot; section, enabling you to literally copy and paste whatever code and text you want, thereby increasing the views.

Ultimately, it doesn&#039;t matter if someone clicks to rachel-levy.com; the goal, if you&#039;re like me, is for enough people to connect your name with content regardless where they read it.
