Ari - Thanks for the comment. I wasn't at that event, unfortunately, but
I'll check out your post. I didn't drive the car at all... the pic was just
for show :-(

Echoing Apollo on no shortage of exotic cars in Boston, I'm reminded of a social event I attended (and you may have too, Rachel) at the Otto Club in June 2008 when author Jake Halpern spoke to a mostly Jewish young adult audience about a book he wrote involving fame. See http://ariwriter.com/fame/ for my take on the subject.

Did you drive the Ferrari solo, or was Ray beside you for liability purposes? (Actually, did you have to sign any paperwork in case you crashed into something while driving it?)

Idea is interesting (and not new), but there is just no way I see ROI of this, not at his rates. Cities like Chicago, Boston, NY, SF, etc. are full of exotics (just sit down in Harvard Square and you will catch one or two of them every 15 minutes during rush hour). Eyeballs of people it attracts may not be positive either. Exotics tend to be loud, have raspy exhaust (performance and mufflers are not good friends), and though car guys like that, general public has negative associations with that.
As a car enthusiast, I must pop in a correction too. This looks like a 360 and MSRP on it brand new base was in $160K range (even convertible did not break $200K). Most used one now sell in $120K range. So claim of $250K resale is just a bit on a fantasy side.

That all said, I am glad you enjoyed yourself. That was great ROI for you :-)
